FAQ

Legalution is a unique platform for resolving complaints against brands quickly. We help consumers in fighting against injustice, fraud and lousy customer service. We use social media, business network and legal framework to resolve disputes. We take every possible step and ensure that we do everything that we can to get the complaints resolved.

A complaint should be filed at the earliest but not later than TWO YEARS from the date on which the cause of action arose. However, the Court may entertain the complaint after a period of 2 years if the complainant is able to satisfy the court that there was sufficient cause for the delay.

Easy steps to file a consumer court complaint online:

a. Provide the company name and write your complaint in detail
b. Enter personal information to serve you better
c. Submit your complaint
d. You need to attach evidence & complete your KYC verification for sending Legal Notice and approaching the consumer forum.

You can file a complaint against the company and can seek compensation and damages for the loss, inconvenience & mental trauma caused to you. You can also ask for an apology from the company and can get a return, replacement or refund of the amount you have paid. You can even demand Interest on the disputed amount if the company is delaying resolution. On successful completion of the case, the concerned consumer tribunal may award monetary compensation or punish the trader/service provider/manufacturer with imprisonment or fine or both.

Yes, you can submit a complaint against any online service provider or seller. We entertain ecommerce complaints, banking complaints, airline complaints, insurance complaints, real estate complaints, education complaints, hospital complaints and D2H complaints etc. You can even register a complaint against Government departments, employers or automobiles companies.

If you have filed a paid complaint, we try to resolve your complaint by sending Legal Notice to the opposite party and giving them 30 days’ time to resolve the dispute. If they fail to resolve your dispute within time then we help you to file a case in the Consumer Court.

Yes, you can register a complaint against foreign company if it has an office in India and we (or you) are aware of its Indian postal address. If the company does not have any Indian postal address, then we cannot help as there is no way to reach them due to cross-border complexities.

The consumer can challenge the decision of the concerned tribunal to State Commission/National Commission/Supreme Court depending on the forum before which the complaint is first filed.
